You could say the same thing about all the posts complaining about moderation and the posts complaining about 'wokeness'.
No, I reserve that one for people who provide the same one-liner dodge that doesn't address the topic, and is just cope for not being able to think critically about the content.
Who is this - another stalker, who's obsessed with my history on these forums? Few of them around all right. You know what they have in common? The little one-liners, where they avoid the content of the post - that's called a 'pattern' mate.
And it's exactly what you did, like all the others who left essentially interchangeable one-liners - 'you're the one who's wrong, and I'm not going to qualify that because I'm not capable'.
You do all the work for me by not being able to hold a normal conversation and simply offer a non-emotional counterpoint to the presented argument.
You might as well all be the same entity. There isn't even any slight attempt to 'shake things up', or surprise. Literally 100% guaranteed to be the 'one-liner dodge', to the point someone needs to invent a new 'internet phrase' for it, similar to cope.
One-liner dodge #6
One-liner dodge #7
You also become so blind-sighted that you didn't realise I never mentioned 'woke'. I wrote it's insane to perma-ban someone over voicing their support for Trump, or saying the colour neon-purple is quite a wretched sight, or saying Bioware is going down toilet in a few weeks.
90% of that forum is saying the same thing. Should they all be perma-banned? Or did my words happen to cut a little too cleanly over others?
But since you raised the topic, in no way whatsoever was the Veilguard level of woke present in any past games. Not even Concord could hold a candle to this.
If you want details, just boot up the Veilguard forums and read all the hate from the non-banned posters.
I never had an issue with woke content as a concept - the problem is that woke-writers, in particular, are so astoundingly bad at their craft that they kill every scene they write. The Aylin character in BG3 - somehow completely coherent after 100 years of torture. 'But she was a god!'
Ah yeah. Been down that road many times. Won't entertain it again.
It is the worst-written character I've ever encountered, in any format, including thrash-lit (Da Vinci Code).
Not all of them are like that, for example Dustborn forum didn't have much bans I think. Some other game had a subforum especially for DEI posts (lol), I forgot which one. Some others will insta-permaban you (Pacific Drive)
It's not hard to remember the few drifters that drift in and complain from other boards when they get banned. Hang around here often enough and you get a feel for the ones who are on a revolving door basis with moderation.
lmao
I was perma-banned as well on the Cyperpunk forum by a truly unhinged activist-mod under the employ of CD(E & I) Projekt Dead. This person terrorises the posters, especially if they even mention DEI without any critique involved.
I made the mistake of clinically dissecting the less the stellar writing/voice acting of Phantom Liberty versus the main game, which appears to have been written by entirely different writers. I didn't even suggest it was written by wokists, but I made mild quip at the end about the Songbird character's hair colour and a certain South Park episode.
Perma-ban.
They're all the same, these people. They think the same, they write the same, have the same lack of talent, in the exact same ways. It's because they're living in a bubble, a fantasy land tangential to that of normal people - and that's all they can write about as fiction, and all they can draw upon in response to forum content.
You didn't go in to that forum for any other reason though..?
You didn't go there asking for help with a quest, talking about the lore and how it ties to previous games, or anything like that, did you?
....aaaannnd not surprised you got banned.
Politics is touchy, and depending on game hub a bannable offence, Neon purple is an opinion (Since, IMHO, purple neon looks great under a tuned up car), and why would Bioware let you post the last part?
