Dualsense PS5 pad compatibility
Hello,

I'm using a PS4 Dualshock pad right now.
But I wonder if it is worth upgrading to a Dualsense PS5 pad ?
Are the Haptic options and vibrations working on Steam with games from the Playstation 5 console ? (Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot 4 etc.)

I know there is also this program that exists:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1812620/DSX/

Thanks

The current PS5 dual sense has bad sticks ( i have 2 down with drift) and i will not buy another until hopefully a version 2 (hall effect sticks) is implemented. I use 8bitdo ultimate c now and it kills all other controllers for me, no bad sticks (very accurate) and no bad trigger or button presses like even the BIG controllers experience all the time.

Yes I've heard the PS5 Dualsense has durability issues.
I don't think I had any issues with the PS4 pad that I realy enjoy, I just would like to experiment the new haptic sensations...

Edit: Oh wow just heard the haptic and advanced rumble and triggers fonctionnalities only work if the PS5 pad is wired on PC.
It apparently does not on bluetooth, is that right ?

Triggers work over bluetooth for some games, Silent Hill 2 being one of them. A compatibility list is available, search for Pcgamingwiki Controller:Dualsense.

I'm not a big fan of the Xbox controller, and my PS4 pad is alwready working fine.
I just wanted to experiment the haptic fonctionnalities.
