It might help if you didnt spam it all over Steam.

Yup, but you see, while that is effective and efficient,. Most don't like it because it's not a flashy public spectacle and so doesn't do anything for their 'attention boners'. They would much rather make grand demands and sweeping proclaimations.
This is a very relevant article.
It just illustrates what we have been saying all along.
Hello there
This is the first time I have seen his post, and I have been on this thread for some time.
This thread is about early access, and that article is about early access. So why the criticism? Makes one wonder.

Boom
Unfortunately, one can only filter it out of the main store page.
YOU CAN NOT FILTER IT OUT OF:
Searches
Discovery queue
Sales.
One way or another, Steam will force customers to feast their eyes on the heaping mess known as early access.
Relevant? Lets see. Writer observes that:
established larger studios are not jumping into the as yet fledgling genre.
That games that have a depth and breadth of scope second to none take a bit longer than games of other genres to complete
some gamers don't like the idea of paying full price.
Yeah that's about as relevant as someone saying 'The wind is picking up' in the middle of a hurricane.
You neglegted to mention the best point of the article,
WHERE THEY RECOMMEND THAT STEAM REFORM THEIR EARLY ACCESS POLICY.
Gee, now could you have missed that part? Makes one wonder.
Do you complain about tampon ads in the paper or those Jordache jeans billboards with the same vehemence Kaboom? That's how advertising works. And you actually can filter them out of the main store page quite effectively
Without a crystal ball I'm not sure how a developer would be able to tell if their project might go awry in the future.
Cosmo and Fred
So in short you're happy to have another parrot join your chorous. . The justification is about as flimsy as any the rest of your flock have come up with.
Those that have an issue with the policy are not the ones buying EAG's.
You complain about personal attacks, and then you turn around and attack someone in the most irrelevant way.
Thank you for discrediting yourself. Saves me the trouble of doing it for you.
Besides, I did mention that the only place you can filter EAG is on the main store page. DID YOU READ?
That's what you call a personal attack. simply pointing out the rather obvious hypocrisy in your own complaints. You complain about steam showing you adverts for things you don't like but do you complain about the city allowing companies to put up highly visible billboards advertising things you don't like? Do you write news papers and magazines complaining about the adverts they have in their pages for products you don't plan on buying?
So let me get this straight.
According to you, people who agree with me are parrots,
and people who agree with you are just right.
That is not even close to correct. It is one sided and arrogant.
Furthermore, you are not correct but dead wrong on this.
I love how you clipped the insult out of your quote. Nice, and very manipulative.
The only hypocrite is you. You are just here to troll and bury the thread or divert the discussion.
I know your tactics.
I have no respect for you because you hide in the shadows, like a coward. But I see why you hide, you lie so much that you would be torn apart in an honest discussion.
No people who merely mindlessly repeat the same observations without actually committing some though or analysis to what they are saying: are parrots.
People who have the ability to to apply critical thought to the information they take in before speaking on it: make for interesting and stimulating conversation.
Only because it makes you feel better about yourself to think of it as such. :-)
But yet you keep proving me right.
