Rust vs Don't Starve Together

Hi I just can't decide which one to buy.

I like survival games but honestly I have no friends with Rust and if I would buy Don't starve Together with it comes 1 free copy I could give to my gf and play it together but I'm still wondering which one I should buy. I knida liked Rust because of all videos over youtube but I'm scared it will be another baseraceshit like h1z1/ark with hackers all over the place.

There is a newer game like rust and h1z1 called hurtworld, http://store.steampowered.com/app/393420, that you could try as the other 2 are full of hackers and such but I doubt that will last much longer for this game as these types usually get bad fast.

Best to find a decent player controlled server to prevent it as much if you can.

Don't starve is great but I wouldn't compare it to those other games as much as it's a smaller amount of players, 4-6 usually per server, and less pking and more helping usually and the other games are more of a fps survival while don't starve is more of a adventure survival game.

Unless you have friends to play with in the rust version type games they can be very hard to survive for long.
