Do Steam prices change during sale?
Is it possible that some games get better prices near the end of the season sale?

It looks like games are staying the same price. The front page just shows games but not with any added discount. This said I have heard that some publishers have lowered the price but steam seems to be aiming to keep the prices the same.

There have been a few games that have gone on sale for larger discounts after the sale started. for example Fallout 4 had no discount at the beginning of the sale then a day or two ago went on sale for 17% off. Similarly some games that were on sale, primarily be Ubisoft, have ceased being on sale or have gone to a lesser discount. If you've kept an eye on the total games on sale counter, you will have noticed it's fluctuated during the course of the sale.

These changes are done by the publishers, not Steam, so if you have a problem with a game going off sale/going to a lesser discount complain to the publisher.
