Seems like everyone is having problems with this. Somehow being logged in as yourself sometimes, and a complete stranger other times. I don't think it's a hacker; probably just the steam servers throwing up all over. It'll be fixed soon, probably.

it is hackers. why in the world would you assume it is "probably" not hackers? hackers threatened to shut down steam on christmas, there was a denial of service, followed by a huge failure in account security.

Anyone else getting emails saying someone has tried to log into your steam account? Aka that steam guard code emails, I've had 5 or so emails so far Edit: and they keep on coming.

official statement from valve on the issues. What's happening now is not the hacking, but can be the result of the hacking that happened earlier today. They are having cache issues.
