"Followed cheapest options"

You mean you lied about where you live and what currency you use? Because that'll get your account suspended.

The error tells you what the issue is: "the game is not available in your territory/region". Nothing much to do there; it's a region lock. If you don't buy games in a territory you don't live in you won't have nasty surprises.

It also seriously screws over every person who actually lives in that region. So, this is kinda karma.

Didn't know Denmark was a part of Argentina. Better add a payment from the country you live in and quit the region hopping.

You are allowed to use the currency of the location you're in if you have a valid address AND BANK ACCOUNT there in that currency.

Your country = denmark, means you spend whatever passes for currency there. You don't get to then jump to another country's currency just because you're visiting there.

There are 5 region specific listings for COD3:BO3. The one you purchased, in Argentina, is region locked to a specific list of South American countries.

Had you purchased it while in Denmark (assuming Eurozone), that license wouldn't have a region lock on it.

i am fairly confident in that this guy is not from denmark.
If you met the requirements for that purchase, you probably can use the game when 3 months are over.

i bought that from argentina with argentina currency and then i traveled to denmark after 8-9 days dude :D
i also can't add payment from denmark or another country since i can't change country in account settings ( argentina is current right now )

Navigating the minefield of the EU is a tricky one, if I understand your post that is, but you shouldn't change your residency if you are staying in one country for less than half a year. Most often I would say anyways.

While I understand why people cross border to be able to buy physical goods cheaper you start hitting roadblocks when you start talking about subscriptions and within EU it's even worse. :P

Roadblocks like not being able to use it at all. :/

Create a new Steam account and don't lie about where you live. Going to another country for a business trip, doesn't mean you live there.

it takes no genius to figure out where he is really from, iran is not denmark.
stop regional jumping to bypass regional pricings.
