Forza Horizon 5 cross save

Hi, I am currently playing Forza Horizon 5 via Xbox gamepass and was wondering if I were to buy the game on steam would my progress carry over from the gamepass version?

Ask in the game's own forum. If it's anything like FH4, the answer might be "no". Why not buy it through the Microsoft store?

Like Forza Horizon 4, Steam versions are not supported for cross saves.
