Malicious scalping bots on steam market;Cs:go skins.
I've sold items hundreds of times on the market. It was easy to sell for the lowest price to sell it faster, but recently I have tried all week to sell my items at the cheapest cost without success. I am under cut by 2 and sometimes 3 people for pennies to get me to lower my cost in the matter of 3 min. After a week of this i was doping $5/$10 to under cut, but to my surprise they followed me with pennies taken off. I thought i was being unlucky all week but tonight i did 5 market sell orders in a half hour and took a screen recording of 2 bots following me down in price when i sold 3 pennies cheaper, so did they. I've read that accounts can be banned for this for malicious intent with the API.
this is happening with several CS items and it is HIGHLY improbable that actual people are doing this. Valve please put a restriction on multiple market transactions to protect your consumers.

Just put an item for sale at the price you want to sell it for and it'll eventually sell if it's not crazily priced.

Besides, if something lists it for less the item will be sold if anyone buys it while listed, so it's a gamble for anyone to try that. I've undercut people to actually sell an item more quickly before to buy a game with the amount I needed.
Thanks for the advice man, just needed to vent some. Do you think I should contact support and share the video? I’m trying to get the valve index with my wallet balance, just need this last skin to sell but it’s cs gloves.
