They removed GTA 3, SA and VC from steam?

I bought them recently from steam, but now i can only see GTA 5, 4 and 1 in steam. Did they remove it so they can sell their new remaster in their own very bad launcher? And its not in steam?

You can't buy GTA 1 or 2 either. The page is still there for them but you can't buy them any longer.

Yes. Rockstar Games website did have free download for both games years ago. No idea why they no longer have it.

Rockstar had those three removed for the launch of the Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy, which includes remasters of Vice City, San Andreas and GTA III.

In a Rockstar Newswire Blog post from October, they mentioned that the original versions of these three GTA games will be removed.

They removed the cheap old games so people will be forced to instead buy the more expensive """""improved""""" versions.

This is probably why they DMCA'd modders who already did this, for free, and better with less bugs
