steam support complaints regarding broadcasts not working

is it a separate team that handle broadcasts...


broadcast forum does nothing... this is months old issue now...


its really odd... it just gets worse with no resolve...

is it worth getting steam support involved to investigate.....

i used to be able to get broadcast to work on my browser
but now that doesnt seem to work either.... interesting...

also i could get game page broadcasts and then switch
to broadcasts and that would work.... not working now...

at the moment i get a 5 second looping thing like it goes to
connect then gets reset to find the broadcast again...

i get a time duration of broadcast people watching
and chat window with users post text...


who can test the broadcast options...

can they be shut off if you complain
that the live label is false on pre recordings

and why do they just not label things correctly.... live is live... and recorded is not..

I honestly never had issues with broadcasting here. Others have but I can never reproduce their issues.

Also, the pre-recorded live broadcasts is a thing because all broadcasts are technically live. There is no way to store a VOD on Steam.

and for whatever reason people do put recorded earlier in these videos.. but you need
to click in to see it if you dont know where to look for it... and its not even the
issue... if i want to watch game play i dont care if its recorded....

but if i want to add feedback... i want it to be live... which i have also done
in the past... where you get feedback from the player... because its... really live... not recorded live.. LOL wow...

and i have had success.. and now my web browser doesnt work either... whats up


i can watch any other video player on the internet on any of my browsers....

steam broken or bigger problems

broadcast not working on the sale pages for the games... broken....

a person was there live....

everything else on youtube is pre recorded

so not sure what youre saying.... as you get a very clear indication of what you
get on youtube.... steam is not the same... its presents a false claim to me...

yeah... but after the broadcast ends it show the video.. but no live logo...

what you present are like radio broadcasts in those 2 videos.... similar
as they are recorded or looped...

i can tell the difference very clearly on youtube... if its live or recorded live or live...

i have never felt like i have been duped on youtube by the live status...

games you want the interaction.... you want it to be live...




so do you think steam support can find the problem... since the steam broadcast forum

offers nothing..... nothing.

Steam, please look at game broadcasts problems. They have not been working for a few weeks, broadcasts do not start, just display black screen or Loading ... bars.
Many users reported this in broadcast group, but it seems no one monitors it.
