re7 and re2 are the scariest i'd think. Plenty of good horror games, I just think most are not scary.

I think re7 is pretty scary in some moments, had trouble going on because it was a bit too tense but maybe it's just me.

I would not say this one is really that scary... But I dislike this genre to begin with. At least this title is interesting enough for me to bother playing. It delve more into psychological horror than actual horror.

Because of what happen later on in the game. I remember Game Grumps doing a playthru of it and it is... Disturbing.

its over for you, once you get desensitized with horror, nothing will scare you anymore. most horror game nowadays are the same boring walking simulator with some jump scare here and there

If you are in the Alien Franchise: Alien Isolation, though horror is a big word for this one.
