An error occured while installing Nobody's left playtest: "Game not released"

I got an invite to test out this game "Nobody's left" I see an option to install but when i click on install and select a drive to install it says this error message -

"An error occured while installing Nobody's left playtest: Game not released"

What could be the reason for this? Even after getting an invite to try out the game. Please help.

Have you selected the Playtest Beta Branch for installation? If not- go into the games Properties menu and click "Betas", and select the Playtest version from the drop down menu up top. If you aren't opted into the Playtest Beta Branch, Steam is not going to let you install the game, since it doesn't exist outside of the private Playtest Beta Branch.

You can also ask on the game's own discussion forums to ask for help with a step-by-step walkthrough that explains how to install a Playtest Beta Branch.

Thank you very much for this information. Sadly I don't see the game listed in my library even though it shows the option "Play now" on the store page. So, i cannot open the game properties to follow the steps u mentioned. Looks like they are restricting play test to limited time. I must have missed the timeline.

same for me and i go into my library and try that and its saying can not play game not released like really
