account recovery using an account name only

is there a way to recover a 2014 account? all i know is its username. no email or password. because it's linked to my rockstar games and i cant unlink it

You need the account name and proof of ownership (the laast one's obvious, really). If you got these two, you can recover.

You must be logged out of all accounts to start the account recovery process.

You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the hijacked/hacked account for this to work. Just pick the "I do not have access..." or a similar option when asked.

Type your email or number. You'll get a prompt that they were unable to find such email/number and option to "search with account name". Click on it, type your account name and follow the guide.

it still works what you talking about ppl using that every day to get the account back did you even try it ?

Had a friend recently who's account was hacked and guy was using it to play games that HE (MY FRIEND) would never ever play.

how can you recover your acc if you dont have any proof 😭 cos its 6 years without playing and the yahoo you use was deactivated due to inactivity so sad 😶

Both accounts were hijacked due to carelessness of their owners. Second one doesn't even need access to that email for account recovery.

He didn't have problem with guide, he didn't save his account unlock code - Which has been marked as important step at least 2 times.
Unlock will be done by Support by the way. This simply block scammer from using that account.

User problem. He doesn't have problem with guide but with lack of any proof of ownership
