Skins monkey is a fraud

on the date of 18 i decided to swap a pair of marble fade gloves and a huntsman knife for a bayonet rust coat (cs2 skins) i start my transaction and the official bot with skinsmonkey logo offered me nothing in return for my items, i didnt notice in the first place, I pressed accept ony phone, and my items were gone and i didn t get nothing in return, i try to speak to customer service on the chat and straight away they said they are not responsable for this and they can t do anything, they keep trying to sell me a story about my account beeing hacked, i scaned my account no keylogger or api key was found, my account is secure, they just dont want to return my items to accept the error that they made, i end up with 310£ loss of skins, either they accept scammers on their website or they cannot provide a safe envoirement for trading, so DO NOT USE this site unless you are an expert in cybersecurity, because they are not able to provide security themselves for their customers, and also they did not want to provide any phone number or email where i can adress the situation nor a phone number from local authoritites to make a claim, the website is based in Nicosia Cyprus….

Secure your account.

All the steps, in order...

Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/ or with whatever

Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Change your password on a secure device.

Generate new back up codes. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Revoke the api key (this should be empty) https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

Your items are gone for good.

Read the Steam Item Restoration Policy.

Never use any site that claims to have items for steam or sign in to any of them with your steam sign in or you are just giving it away! And why do people waste money on things that are irrelevant like skins?? skins are pointless and do nothing!! Console or PC is you use your sign in off those platforms then you just gave away your account.

I purchased an Index, my 2nd Deck and many games using the funds from Market sales from CS alone. It can be worth it.

Been in it since the beta, which was before the item economy but I persisted with playing a couple hours every day for the drops. Even after they nerfed the drops this year, new cases still sell for bank when they first drop.

They just didn't pay attention to the trade and accepted it as is.
