My Logitech Wingman Extreme joystick that I bought late 90s still works as well, yeah. Also have a steering wheel and gamepad from then (all sporting the dark grey with red buttons look), and back then it all already was customisable via one piece of software.

My logitech broke and they no longer sell it..

I got a fix for you. Use WD-40 on mouse wheel, spray a bit of it from the side of the wheel, inside of it while scrolling. That's how I fixed my Viper Mini and it's working flawlessly a year later. If not for the wheel it would be a perfect mouse.

I am very happy with the wired Razer Basilisk Ver 3.
I think I purchased 4 of them already. ( 2 for my PC + laptop, 2 for gifts. :) )
Has great RGB lighting too.

I am thinking of checking out wireless Razer mice too, but unsure if it is worth it, as they cost much more than wired models.

(I had a very expensive wireless Razer Naga Epic Chroma mouse years ago, it was good - but it finally died a few years after warranty passed.)

I use a Logitech B100. Fits all my requirements - cheap, not too small, has a cord, and doesn't have piles of extra buttons.

("Best mouse" is really subjective - not everyone needs or wants the same features, so what's Best for one person is awful for another.)

RThe best mouse...is the one that fits your hand the best. Got myself an x-large semi-vertical ergonomic mnouse built for lefties and man it is just the best. YOu never realize how much energy and effore you put into conforming to a mouse until you don't have to doit anymore.

I want a comfortable mouse that won't break or I can replace the switches, so shopping is just annoying since my choices are only 100+ dollar mice that might need a return. Consider cheap ones and getting multiple for the inevitable break, but rather get a comfortable one

Trust me when I say those mice are over priced. You can get very good mice for less than 50.
And don't be fooled by the dpi numbers. They're just using interpolation.

I bought a naga and it broke (bad double click etc), then I read online they all have switches that break and everything is very cheap and the only way to get a mouse that won't break is to get a mouse with swappable switches or optical, wireless versions of those are over 100. I would get a cheap mouse, I just don't like buying it knowing it's going to break, it feels like I am paying people to scam me

I stopped buying Razer mices after two Deathadder short lifespan (left or right click. fast wear). Very satisfied with the Steelseries Rival 3 (around 30 €).
