The razor mouse I have had some problems with the middle mouse button after a year or so. Would not buy again. I should have stayed with normal office mouses ...

The best mouse I have used by far throughout is the Logitech G502 Hero (corded). It has both free-scrolling mousewheel as well as sideways-scrolling, programmable buttons on generally OK and competent software, and some other physical adjustments you can make to it. Would highly recommend it if you don't mind cords.

I've heard some say that this mouse *can* fail early in some recognizable way if you are unlucky, though I suspect Logitech would cooperate and send you a replacement if you turn it back in, since that's also what I've heard mainly positive feedback about.

Some of the same appreciations also stick out for the G602 Wireless, my earlier mouse model, but unfortunately the MMB on mine is almost unrecognizable on press anymore, so it does not get a lot of use anymore. I'll stick to the corded G502 instead now since it happens on really good price in my country every so often.

Same. G502 Hero, corded for me too. My last one took abuse for over 5 years before the scroll wheel started having issues (lots of use, and lots of built up crud stuck down inside because I was lazy about cleaning it). The only drawback it has is that it has no left-handed version, which I need from time to time. Reasonably priced compared to many other gaming mice here in the US- often on sale from various electronics stores and Logitech themselves. Plus I appreciate the base weights that you can set up yourself to find the best movement feel for you. Love the thumb rest- helps with my arthritis a ton.
I second the G502 recommendation.

The Razer Naga V2 Pro, with the 12-Button sidepanel.

Great mouse, I love it.

I'm currently using the Logitech G502 Hero, which is also my favorite mouse I've used so far.
Feels great and i love the unlockable scroll wheel.

From all the ones i used i'd say mid quality is aiming a bit high.

Have been using Logitech MX or G series mice since about 20 years, I think. I like the shape, the buttons, options, etc.

Personally, I've always had tons of issues and problems with any and all the Razor products I ever had the misfortune to try out. Logitech on the other hand is high quality and always fit to what I want it to be. You just need to know what you are doing because their support is quite bad.

I have some Logitech products that I bought over 20 years ago that I still use today. One particular gamepad immediately come to mind. It has never let me down.
