Geforce NOW and behavoiur of the store and being able to play on Steam
I think Steam and Nvidia needs to review a bit their agreements. At the moment if i buy on Steam and the game is avaible on Nvidia Geforce NOW...not always the game is avaible to play.
I mean i bought it on Steam and i want to play it right?
I cant play it on GeforceNOW cuz is avaible only on another store..
Consequence? I ask for a refund on Steam. Please if i buy a game on Steam lemme play on your store not on another

Less distance moar results its true...saying 1000ms without trying imho is unprofessional.
Was not the best connection after all, but was running games smooth

I was playing Diablo4 from Capo Verde Isles servers with 2 hours of GMT and was running smooth...

When the game looks like it has low latency, it has low latency. Effectively.

Another lie...Pinged with 25 ms to North Italy to Deutschland Frankfurt...
Gaming always RTXON 1080p more than 60 FPS.

Its true btw...that you can achiev better results being near to server. TLC doesnt lie...people does..
Why did you quote me and said "another lie"?
I told a true happening.

Less distance does not always equate to low ping.

Even on games like DRG, I can see lower ping when connecting to games that aren't hosted in the US(where I am) compared to games that are.

It helps a lot BTW.

It varies on the quality of the server. P2P is the most likely to benefit from closer distances.

Less distance means more stable and faster connection. Its phisics λ its variable dipendants from distance.
Distance in internet is not like driving with a car from a to b

So this went from, why are some of my games not playable on GFN anymore, to, lets try and bait this guy into buying a new PC.

The answer, is no. GFN is a great service, but you need to know that what you can play there, can go away.

Until you factor hoops. A closer connection may do more jumps than a more distant one, adding routing, QoS, and throttling times into the equation.

Networking is fun!

It's like how sometimes when driving the longer road that hardly anyone drives yields a shorter trip than the shorter road that everyone and their two uncles drives.

of course those hops also vary depending on the load each of those points is having at that particular time.

A 30 minutes drive can get you several miles away on an empty road, or just around the corner on a traffic jam.
