Geforce NOW and behavoiur of the store and being able to play on Steam
I think Steam and Nvidia needs to review a bit their agreements. At the moment if i buy on Steam and the game is avaible on Nvidia Geforce NOW...not always the game is avaible to play.
I mean i bought it on Steam and i want to play it right?
I cant play it on GeforceNOW cuz is avaible only on another store..
Consequence? I ask for a refund on Steam. Please if i buy a game on Steam lemme play on your store not on another

I found GFN good for me...if you dont y bother me?

And yes im a noob and you know everything...tsk..
The thing is you're coming across as though you're trying to justify it to yourself.

Personally I'll agree with you that PC gaming can be an expensive hobby, I'm finding UE5 games are pushing my current hardware to the point where I have to turn graphics options right down to get a decent framerate.

Again, personally, I'm not a fan of streaming services because you either don't own the game, so are spending money for something very ephemeral, or in GFNow's case you actually have to spend money to buy the game, then pay a sub to play it via their service. So sure you save on an upfront 'big' cost, but then how much do you spend on that rental in the same period a PC would've lasted?

So it's not for me, but if you're happy with it then be happy because you won't convince many that don't see the benefit that it's something they want.

Except Steam hasn't treated you like a fool they made no claim to say the games you purchased did. Remember you didn't research whether games you bought on Steam worked through GFNow, despite the info being readily available from Nvidia who provide the service.

By all means don't buy from Steam, but don't try and rationalise by blaming them for your mistakes. There's a lot of games not available on other stores or that, according to Nvidia's list, work from Steam only.

I don't renew GFN, I don't buy Space Marine 2, I play WoW and make everyone happy. Happy now?

I was trying to say to Steam that i found unfair that i cant play games i purchased on GFN.

Since you want to point out that as a customer I have always been wrong. I keep the money I play WoW SoD or Diablo 3/4 and I agree with you. Better the reason than the money right...well I'll give it to you and I'll keep the money

Nividia cant host games without permission from publishers and right owners and they decide wich platform game is allowed to be played through and they can at any time opt out and remove that acces from geforce now

But I agree with you guys...I'll throw away a shopping cart and keep the money
Manziflex Aug 13, 2024 @ 3:01am
No one who says it's probably a temporary situation...it will change...No you are damn wrong trash your cart and buy a PC that you cant afford anymore. I wanted to buy a Nokia box and Nvidia trash that too. Anyone else who wants to add something and prove me wrong...to make me stop buying permanently?

A lifetime GFN trashed
An Nvidia Shield or Nokia trashed
A Steam with 2 or 3 new games at year cart trashed

Thats what biased opinion, instead of concrete solutions, or simply excuse..cuz to customers..

There is the thrash, the bin, for who hates customer.

Enjoy it.

it turns into sadism after a while...I'll come back to the cloud and GFN topic later in two years or more. Too bad it was working fine this time also on FTTCs and 4G

You in fact, do not have low latency. You may think you do, but you do not. I'm quite literally next to a GeForce NOW server, when tested the servers in 2020 when they did offer every game, and later in 2023. The latency is horrible.
Someone in another country had a worse ping to his local game server in his town than me 1000 kilometers away..

When the game looks like it has low latency, it has low latency. Effectively.

Another lie...Pinged with 25 ms to North Italy to Deutschland Frankfurt...
Gaming always RTXON 1080p more than 60 FPS.

Its true btw...that you can achiev better results being near to server. TLC doesnt lie...people does..
