How many profile showcases are allowed ?

Considering showcases can be bought from points shop or levelling up, is there any upper limit to the number of showcases, one can have in one's Steam profile, or is it as many as possible ?

If you go to the point shop and don't see an option for an additional profile showcase, you've hit the limit. For instance, you can only have two game collector showcases.

It's both, actually.

While "as many as possible" is still correct to some extent, there's only a limited number of profiles to select from, and they can't be repeated -- so the upper limit is not the number of showcase slots on your profile, but the number of different showcases that Steam offers.

Is it possible to know, which showcases have how many limits ? Or is it that each showcase has 2 ?

You can only have 2 of the same showcase of the ones that allow you to buy an extra one.

If I'm not forgetting one, there are 22 showcases and 19 of them allow you to buy a second one, so that's 41.

You can have two of these:

Item Showcase
Items Up For Trade
Badge Collector
Favorite Game
Screenshot
Custom Info Box
Favorite Group
Review
Workshop
Your Workshop
Artwork

I had listed it as Steam Replay, but it looks like it's only called that in the news pages and other promotional material. I edited my post.
