Yeah it was - this is bonkers.
Game forums are moderated as they see fit if they have their own moderators.
No dude.
We allowed to say 'clarify your opinion' on Steam.
Moderators have no right to ban someone over that unless they are unhinged and cannot handle the fact the person who was asked that question could not provide a straight answer.
The moderator who delivered ban should be fired 100%
If you can't understand it then I don't think a translator will help either
It's gone nuts... They have a hard-on for certain people who will abuse and goad and bait, and you if you civilly ask them to clarify their anger, and it exposes them to having to articulate an opinion, you have obviously made a fool of them - and Steam mods will ban you for that.
It's f**king mad.
No buddy - this is about simply asking someone to clarify their opinion about why WOTR writing isn't bad.
And then getting banned because the person couldn't express that opinion.
It's mental.
I really wish Steam mods actually took some level of nuance into their judgement. If you post something that is meant to be sarcastic or snide but isn't otherwise directly insulting, they'll interpret as is and ban you on that post alone. I guess that would take too much effort though.
This is disingenuous.
You're reported for calling me 'homophobic' without actually quoting evidence.
Also this about my being banned over asking someone to 'clarify their opinion on fiction' - literally that.
Go tell me how that's homophobic.
