alien isolation is a must, but even i cannot complete that game, gives me the heeby jeebies lol, i played that on console but have it on steam and dare not start it, as i get older i for some unknown reason have become a wuss haha.

Depends on what you mean by "scary".

Elite Dangerous is a very scary game at times just due to the atmosphere painted, despite the fact it's not some Eldritch Horror game or whatever. Seriously, if you can play this game blind and without watching any videos, it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ immersive and at times that immersion causes terror. 10/10 space atmosphere, really freaks you the ♥♥♥♥ out.

System shock remake is worth looking into. The originals i love but I played them back when so they've already embedded their asthetic charm in me.
