steam app, tabs, windows, fast shortcuts
(nvm, the steam web browser is more than enough, I would assume)

why does the app go into website tabs as an function for the storepage, instead of having tabs integrated into the steam's app page?

or its not tabs at all, but an comeback to the list or shortcut (saved or deleted, local?), while instead maybe allowing to have another steam app page/window to be open to handle stuff like that, be it for discussion, looking at a lot of games, coming back to something instead of through wishlists, news, etc.

You're talking about the URL at the top-left corner of the screen, right? If so it's probably because it makes it easier to find things on the web or to send links to people.

the URL is nice, although in some outdated parts of steam its a bit messy.

I mean more about right-click on a page on steam, and it will take you to an web browser instead "open in new tab" or something like that. but I guess its more or less what I want, it just feels a bit off.

so nvm this, just never thought much about the web browser with steam, its just a little jarring how takes you between the steam store and web page on windows 10/11.

Control+click or middle mouse click doesn't?

It might be links only to be opened externally.
