Refund policy
How comes that my request of a refund for Hell let loose gets denied ( purchased it longer then 14 days ago but played only 22 min) but I see reviews from other users who received refunds and they played more then 20 hours in some cases.
I started now the third request but this is frustrating because you get these computer generated answers but have no way to communicate with a person. But they are quick of taking the money!
Their policy states that a refund can be only granted if the purchase date is within 14 days of the refund request and playtime of the game is less then 2 hours.
How I said, I have at least 5-6 screenshots where users had more then 20 hours playtime, maybe were within the 14 days. But they should have been denied in a refund too.

It's outside the 2 weeks and 2 hours. It's both, not either.

You can try a manual ticket.

You must meet BOTH requirements. Not just one.

"The Steam refund offer, within two weeks of purchase and with less than two hours of playtime, applies to games and software applications on the Steam store."

https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds

And not or.....

I understand that I have to meet both requirements but how comes that some users get a refund anyway even they maybe only meet one requirement? And I can proof that they did not meet at least one requirement.
What is a manual ticket?

This is why. A manual Ticket means a member of Steam Support will review your case and might give you a refund even if youre already over 2 hours or 14 days.

Upper left nav bar, click on Help, Steam support, and games, software, select your game, go through the menus. You want, I have a question about a game etc.. then fill out the info, and just be polite, but remember, whatever they reply back to you will be final.

Refund policies - Take your pick.

Note: (***) same refund policy.

1) Steam - Within two weeks of purchase and with less than two hours of playtime. (***)

2) Epic - Games and products are eligible for refund within 14 days of purchase. However, you must have less than 2 hours of runtime on record. (***)

3) Ubisoft (UPDATED) - You can request a refund for a digital PC game within 14 days of your purchase, as long as the game has not been played for more than two hours. (***)

Previously it was: (You can request a refund for a digital order within 14 days of your purchase, as long as the content has not been launched).

4) EA Play - Whichever comes first.

a) Within 24 hours after you first launch the game.

b) Within 14 days from the day you bought it, if you have not launched the game.

c) Within 14 days from the release date if you pre-ordered the game, if you haven't launched it yet.

5) Blizzard - The game is newly purchased within the last 3 days. You haven't started the game; if the game has been played at all it won't qualify for a refund.

6) GOG - starting now, you can get a full refund up to 30 days after purchasing a product, even if you downloaded, launched, and played it. That's it. #

# (Open to abuse and they monitor for abuse and reserve the right to refuse a refund as do all PC stores).

Note 'might' does not mean 'will'
