It literally isn't bait and switch as they repeatedly said when the sale was over. Your failure to remember the time doesn't change the fact that they told you.
They cannot sale a sale ends July 11th because of timezones. There are time zones that are a day behind, or ahead, and they have to give an exact time its going to end, hence why they say it ends July 11th at 10am PST.
Learn to read, bud. I've already explained my stance on this. You're probably just a bot, anyway. Get lost.
You are free to have any stance you want, it doesn't change the fact that you are wrong and don't know what your talking about. With an online store it can't end on July 11th for everyone due to timezones, hence why they tell you the time.
Hopefully next sale you read and then you won't have this issue going forward
Yep, every sale people show they are not capable of reading or that they fail to grasp the basic concept of time zones.
There we go...
Thin foil hat time
People is not a bot just because they disagree with you
Beep bop boop. Yes I am 100% human. I was manufactured, I mean born in a real hospital and everything.....
Although in all seriousness it would be funny if it wasn't so sad that in all likelihood some of these people are so disconnected from reality that they most likely actually believe it
It's not bad behavior if company keeps set end date; bad behaviour would be extending it as a last minute offer/extra 2 hours, don't miss it etc.
Just to add gonna assume this is your first online purchase then as its incredibly common for online store that are global due to time zones. It has to end at a specific time and that is going to be in the middle of the day for a group of people.
I mean epic does exact same thing for instance - https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/hades
Sale ends 7/16/2024 at 11:00 AM
So if you've never seen it before then you must have never bought anything online during a sale.
The ironic thing is all of steam's competitors do the exact same thing as its normal for online only stores.
Fanatical does it
https://www.gog.com/en/game/doom_3
GoG does it
Everybody does it.
Hopefully people take this as a lesson and actually read next sale
Oh nyo!
The bot's can now use google!!!
Run to teh mountains!!! They are taking control!!
sounds like you've never heard of ChatGPT. You really think an AI bot can't use the web? What a joke. Just found out Valve is getting sued for deceptive practices aimed at their UK consumers. The proof is in the pudding. Valve clearly has no concern about whether their practices are deceptive or not. I feel better now. I could care less if the rest of you agree with me. They are about to lose $700 million.
ChatGPT is a wonderful tool that provides valuable info on demand. Its cutting edge technology allows rapid and accurate responses.
