Is there any game atm worth playing?
Is There any game created with gamers in mind not with money in mind?

I couldn't find any that will give you satisfying game play, and be created simply to make you enjoy it, to give you sense of achievement and a trill of playing, without being heavily monetized, or with an unbeatable AI so you wont notice the lack of content.

Turbo Overkill is an easy recommendation. Pro tip: don't look exclusively @ A games. Those are (almost) exclusively lazy cash grabs. There's hundreds of games on Steam worth playing if you don't look at those, hats kinda on you.

Outside some free to play games, no. Every game that gets developed has costs, so earning money is always on their mind.

That said, there are so many good and fun games, more than one can play in a lifetime, I can't actually believe that people can't find something to play.

Nope. Freeware games are not worth it.

Baldur's Gate 3 and the Kingdom Hearts games.

I have over 1000 games spread across my various libraries dating from the 70's up to and including 2024. 99.99% have been worth playing.

Over 12,000 games were released on Steam last year. Nearly 7,900 have been released this year alone. If anyone has issues finding worthwhile games to play, that is what we call a "you problem." I have more games than I'll ever be able to finish in my lifetime, let alone the ones yet to be released that will make their way into my library.

I've been gaming for over 40 years. There's never been a better time to be a gamer than now in terms of quality and value for the money with games. Anyone who disagrees probably should rethink their choice of hobby.

No, there's not any games worth playing here. This is just 30 million people hanging out on a game-playing platform for no reason except to socialize.

The answer you are looking for is no. You want other people to parrot this answer to feel better about your own pessimistic view on the gaming landscape.

The answer you will get from people who aren't mentally 5 years old is yes.

Definitely.

Yep. If I started now & did nothing but play one new game per month, each & every month, it is very unlikely I would live long enough to make it through all the current unplayed games in my library.

If you avoid:

Live service
Ubisoft
Activision Blizzard
Free to play
EA
Bethesda (arguably)
Games with yearly entries

Then yeah, there are still good games out there.

Just have to be critical in purchases upfront.
