Especially in this case as it was not incompetence to ban someone for falsely accusing others of being ignorant racists (while engaging in arguably ignorant behaviour themselves).

Rather recall it alleged “official support.”

Threads like this are why I'm glad the quote feature exists and good job to those who preserved the OP's posts (including the original body of the thread).

Funniest part of the thread was definitely OP trying to prove someone wasn't Swedish by accusing them of speaking Spanish, which actually turned out to be Portuguese. You dug through someone's post history to try to prove them wrong and in the process made yourself look like the ignorant racist. Bravo, OP.

Nothing racist about it. At most it's bit exaggeration. I can't say how things are in Sweden but here in Finland most government/public services close for ~6 weeks and only provide service on the net/phone/on reservation. Schools are closed for entire summer break (2.5 months). Most people are on vacation at least 4 weeks during summer and many places feel literally dead as people go on vacation either abroad or to their summer cottages/homes.

Plenty of people, both residents and foreingers, have said same things about Finland during summer and it's neither racist nor even offensive as large portion of the country feels that way. Of course there are exceptions like tourist traps and places where there are lot of summer residents. For example the population of our neighboring municipality more than doubles during summer months due to summer residents. For others neighboring municipalities population also increases significantly while for mine it decreases during the summer months.

I don't know about other Swedish studios but the one I moderate for closes for ~6 weeks during summer and 2-3 weeks during Christmas period.
