To me, it's another sign of how your foundation is completely off. You value popularity and imagine that a thing somehow becomes more true if more people support it. You will even try to use it as an argument: "Look, all of these people disagree with you and therefore you are wrong!!!" Hahahaha. So stupid.
You will support each other just because it is "your tribe", no matter how bad, inappropriate or nonsensical the post is. You never care about reason, ever.
I call the people who do this redditors. If you do it to annoy me, well, you have succeeded. But you can stop now because I have hidden them.
Hey look, a ship that I get to sink.
Let's go point by point shall we.
Awards were indeed a mistake, but so was the removal of the no politics rule. I'm glad that there is some form of agreement on this that can be made.
You just summed up everyone that browses social media and mainstream media sites, of which you are one of. You yourself want to be popular, but hate the fact that Steam is a place where your particular brand of behavior isn't allowed, so you lash out at the "other". Even when they are imaginary.
Also, I don't know why I was given awards, I don't care about the awards, I'm just going to use those steam points in a couple weeks to buy a level up for my completionist showcase.
The same easily could be said of you and everyone in your tribe. But as with all tribalism, you only want it to apply to them, but when that gets turned against you, it's suddenly not alright.
You can only hide profile awards on the Steam Client, which considering you have multiple alts, I doubt you're using. I myself have hidden profile awards because I do not like how they clutter up that side of my profile.
As for annoying you? That's as easy as breathing.
What exactly needs to happen before you finally give up? I have told you clearly and repeatedly that I am not interested. I have also told you why. You have proven without a doubt that you are a horrible communicator and will fantasize all kinds of things constantly which I have not said, and then go on a rant about them. I really don't have the patience to deal with people like that.
Look at how many Steam Accounts you made to just post. It's at the stages of being unhealthy now.
And so we have to agree, no matter which side you sit, there is a problem with moderation.
They need to fix that, and likely replace the current moderation team, and bring in another, and keep doing it until they get it right.
Obviously you are interested, or you wouldn't be constantly trying to goad me into acting like your echo chambers say I should.
Also holy projections, Batman!
Ok so you are never going to give up. Well then I am going to give up trying to get through to you. Keep spamming your walls of text if you are having so much fun with that. I won't read them.
I mean it isn't my fault that you hate intellectualism.
Well, there are many that don't believe moderation goes far enough, and want a more punitive approach. Perma bans etc. They complain all the time why certain posters are not out of here by now.
Then you have folks like myself and others, who feel the rules not being applied equally, or correctly. And some feeling the rules too vague, in that almost anything in a conversation can break the rules.
I've seen the most ardent pro moderation posters here for more than the past year, now become some of the most ardent anti moderation posters, being they now felt the wrath of the very moderation, they wanted for others, but now happening to them.
Altogether, there is a problem, in that many of us agree there is, and so, i guess that's what i meant.
Many people believe incorrect ideas, though, so that’s not exactly a persuasive argument (AKA “argument from popularity”).
