I'll never understand how people have issues finding good and fun games in todays market. Seriously. People have to be really limited in taste/genres/etc, I guess.
Why do you put games on your wishlist that you're not really interested in?
Since everyone is different with different tastes, you will not get a definitive answer.
There are so many "older" games that a lot of people have never heard of (including myself), that are way better than "modern" games.
I think it is a nice "quest" to look for the hidden gems of the past, some may not have aged well, but others are a delight to play.
I don't disagree, but there are lots of AA games and indies that are worth playing, not to mention I'm sure there's plenty of excellent older titles you haven't played yet.
Don't buy unfinished games if you're risk averse.
Is is somewhat of a problem, yes. I blame the addition of "awards" and the useless points they provide. Creates incentive to farm for them.
Again, don't like them, don't buy them. That's not a difficult concept.
I think a break away from gaming would do you some good. Diversify your hobbies a bit.
What they said. Why even *have* a wishlist with 1000 entries?
I sometimes think they get pretty fed up with my refunds, but if i don`t like it, i don`t like it.
There are a lot of good ones too though, but they are usually older.
And sometimes you come across something simple that are loaded with silly humour and dumb wordplay`s like Cat Quest II that i bought for my niece, but ended up having a real blast with.
"Ninety per cent of everything is crap"
You can fester on the 90%...or look into the other 10%
It don't really matter to me to only get about ten hours of play from a game which is priced ten dollars. I have huge issues with games priced around 30 and providing only ten hours of enjoyment tho.
1) Too specific preferences
2) Impossible standards
3) Not enough searching
4) Not knowing what the player wants from a game.
-To solely play games on release.
-To play activision games that never go on a good sale.
It's never been easier to build yourself a library on a budget than now. Every day there's something on sale somewhere.
