So making a Steam support ticket involves an external website you have to sign into?

You are guys are acting just like amazon now who make things as difficult as possible when it comes to either making tickets or getting a human involved.

Notice how i said as difficult as possible and not impossible. Meaning that they want you to go through a hassle, hoping you will give up.

This is exactly what amazon does. They have one click shopping all day long but the second you want help they send you into one page loop after another and then also make you sign in multiple times when you want help. And you will still not get anywhere.

Its the same with steam. One click shopping as long as they have your financial details stored but the second you want help with your purchase you are sent out side of the app and made to sign in. While not difficult at all to sign in they know a lot of people will just give up. This is what they want. Why else have steam support not in the actual app?

I've not had to log into a separate site since they merged everything into the client years and years ago. Sure you're not getting scammed by someone?

Yes, that opens directly into the client. It's no different then clicking on Help and Steam Support at the top of the client.
