Why does Valve Act like CCP CHINA when were in the USA?
Title.

Everything about their moderating and approach to dealing with problems is like pulling a book out of CCP China.

Wild.

His link cites this as Tort Cases..

"In FY 2023, City payouts on personal injury and property damage claims (collectively tort claims) which include allegations of slip and falls, medical malpractice, motor vehicle crashes, police action, and property damage claims increased minimally from FY 2022".

That is not Small Claims.
And now, go to the other sections on that page. Would be nice if you read beyond the top of a page for once.

Ok so you do it. Post that part of the Link of such cases. We're not interested in slip and fall cases and who sued the city. Copy and Paste the link of the record of these Small Claims cases.

All these business's getting sued. Aint happening, aint even big enough to make any lists. It's not as massive as you think it is.

Can you for once, supply anything to back your claims? Would be grateful for that. Posting a link on how claims works, does none of that. Most people, know how claims works...

You're the one who said, the Small Claims Court proceedings are part of the record. Provide the record. Where are they in your link?

I just cited cited you the Link for Small Claims Court, and the criteria, and so post the public record of such cases.
Again, try reading past the top of the page....

Literally in section 3, non Tort claims...

Dispute and Other 1% and less than 1% lol

Bahaha ALL small claims are torts, either he's lying completely about ever being a cop or he was an even worse cop than he appears. Literally all civil claims are torts and a good chunk of criminal ones are too

Let me guess you stopped reading there and ignore all the rest of the page because you thought this was a gacha moment, and didn't see the section on wages claims, or the DoE claims, or the DoT claims. Go on, keep digging.

Kinda par for the course he'd make a claim, then refuse ot back it up and say you have to prove him wrong. Typical Bad Cop behavior

III. Law (Non-Tort) Claims
Law (non-tort) claims include claims arising from City contracts, equitable claims, refund claims, City employee salary disputes, claims involving DOE special education matters, sidewalk assessments, and cleanup costs levied on property owners who are in violation of the Mental Hygiene Law, as well as affirmative claims brought by the City against other parties.

The number of law claims filed increased by 2,156 claims, or 32 percent, to 8,976 claims in FY 2023 from the 6,820 law claims filed in FY 2022. There was a notable increase in the number of salary claims filed, up 36 claims from the 55 claims filed in FY 2022 to 91 claims filed in FY 2023, a 65 percent increase. Special education claims continue to account for the largest proportion—83 percent in FY 2023—of law claims filed.

Is that what we're talking about?

And it's insignificant to your claims. That's such a small number, that it doesn't even count on the graph and lumped into others.

It's not as massive as you tried to claim, period. It's not even on the legal radar, at all. It's quite literally, insignificant. Since nearly all the increase, was due to the Special Education section.

Oh no... a dozen people in a year tried to fight for something. Alert the presses... Oh wait, we're in the digital age now.

From numbers, not even worthy of mention. Slapped into a field that doesn't show on records and lumped with others.

It was so small, it wasn't even worth mentioning, which says something if they took the time to mention a 36 claims increase from one source but not even bother with others since so low.
Malfunctioning Robot 2024 年 4 月 23 日 下午 8:48
Wow, You know all the small claims courts in NYC show up on google maps and you can check roadview, not a single line in sight. In fact there is a ton of empty parking near all of them.

36 small claims in the whole City of New York. Post that section please.

Do have to say, the brickwork in front of the New Rochell one is nice. I wouldn't mind lining up there, it's got a pleasing aesthetic

I think it's fair to say we all knew it was a gross exaggeration. Aint no one forming lines outside a court building for something so trivial. I've been in those buildings many a time, even the Yonkers one you'd not see this EVER... Plenty of room inside.

Like, do you not read what you post now?! Salary was the only mention of the small ones, up by 36 claims. The others were too small to even mention!

It has been explained, and the Amendment cited, Freedoms of Speech have nothing to do with the government. It is our Rights as citizens. And if Mr Newell wants to do business in "this" country, he is going to follow our rules.
That is more so the global concept of freedom of expression. Ironically, forcing businesses to platform speech they don't want to on their private platform is actually anti-free speech. As this is a form of expression you're saying the owner of the private forum should not have.

Another way to put it, your rights end where other people's rights begin. Unless we want to say Steam forums should be seized by the government and be declared a public space, you are out of luck.
