card idling
Hi I didnt know where else to ask this.

I have a bunch of games which I dont play but still have card drops remaining. I want to use an idle program to get the drops but is that a against Steam their ToS, looked online and could not find anything concrete on it.

I rather use a program to idle them than let my pc run for days on end and a while back I heard that steam was cracking down on card farming that is why I ask.

Sorry for my english :)

Majority of card drops is around 2 hours game play depending on how many free card drops there are.
For example for 3 cards, the first one normally drops around 30 mins of the game being opened, in other words just leave the game open for 2 hrs to get the drops.

I've done it, years ago. I sort of regret it now, because there are games in my library I've never touched that show upwards of 40+ hours of gameplay. The algorithm Steam uses to recommend games to you takes play hours into account, so this throws the recommend system way off.

For me, accuracy in those play hours is more important than the few cents I got from those card drops.

Something to consider, anyway.
