Linking Youtube videos is now broken ERROR 500

for about a week now been unable to link any new videos through my profile from youtube, tried 3 different browsers, linked and relined youtube etc... summit broken just get white screen where would normally list the ones to pick from

The current trick right now is to try it at exactpy 12AM Pacific Time.

I am may be curious but what's the purpose to link a yt video vt on a private profile ?
To be seen by contact i guess ...
Why do not give a try to some yt alternativ like invidious ? At least it's more respectfull of your privacy than yt.

bad idea finally, as only yt can be linked to steam using account manager ....

it shares to community videos, and can be used to attach to steam reviews.... so its far from a pointless feature

I reported this problem to support two weeks ago. Their answer was: "We are aware of the problem and are investigating the issue further."

Considering their success with fixing other broken minor site features, it might still be broken in 5-6 years.

TBH I think it went down for me around the same time Google/Youtube started blocking sideloading to Rumble in late February, had no issues right up till that rule change.

Another side effect of this change which I've got with youtube is they are blocking me from watching my just my recent uploaded content at higher bitrates now as well.... but only on my own account? when I log out it works in max resolution etc,,, same if watch older video pre- the rule changes.... so definately seems Google/Youtube are the guilty tyrants here. Probably the latest scam to force people to buy premium crap.
