comparing unified hardware to pc hardware makes no sense and nobody can give you a proper answer to that

You cannot even compare a consoles APU to a PC'S APU different variants lol. I have a 5800x about to upgrade to a 5950x and my gpu is a RX590 about to install the RX7900 GRE and both ways i can kill my PS5 with my PC with ease.

Why?

PC guys aren't locked to one ecosystem or locked to specific hardware. Also, equivalent does not mean it's the same level.

Why would i care?
90% of the games i play dont even exist on console, making any console inferior by default, no matter the specs.
PC or nothing.

i think the main problem is the cpu on PS5 Pro its too weak which limits its potential

Its potential is to be an upgrade to the PS4. Also a more powerful CPU would likely cost more. A $600 or $700 console might limit its ability to compete against the Xbox or even some budget PCs.

No it will not be better, but more like offer a similar experience. According to the specs and leaks, PS5 Pro would up to 40% faster than PS5 which would make it almost equivalent to a 2080Ti as its ∼40% faster than a PS5/2070S
2080Ti is also equivalent to 3070/4060Ti, the Pro will match the latter in power efficiency tho.

If 90% of the games I want were on PC I'd agree 100% with you.

A PS Pro will only better better than a PC for the games you can't get on PC.

If you play at half res 30fps then the PS5 Pro is more powerful yes.
