Vietnam ban access to Steam

I think the government was incompetent though because the ISP only banned the domain, but Steam's IP address was still accessible.

You can add a DNS entry to your local machine by going to this link in File Explorer: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts.

Then, put a new line at the end of the file like this:
<steam ip> store.steampowered.com.

Save it, and then you'll be able to access the Steam store through your local DNS entry instead of the internet.

I could be completely wrong here, but that did work for me.

ofc you dont, you removed them...

look at the ID of the person we are all talking to, same exact ID.

not to mention the same wording to a T as the one i replied too.

I tried using Gabe sugar coating with 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 bro, didn't help. Even went as far as ipconfig /flushdns

Well, I deleted my post in this thread. I seem to see a "post deleting" pattern and I don't like when someone tries to delete their history for the sake of deceiving someone.

That said, It's a shame that a country would block an entire game store. (And even the main one, to be honest.) I do hope a solution will be found for user to play games.

Should of just told him he has no power to delete his post, his 'delete' only makes them invisible to anyone whos not a member of Valve or a moderator so sadly for his small brain, Valve can see all of his posts regardless of him liking it or not.

mobile app cannot open store page this morning. But PC still cannot open Store page without VPN.
