Someone changed their account to look identical to mine and is adding people on my friends list.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Someone copied my name, picture, and the text under my picture, and is adding people from my friends list. Fortunately my account is old and fairly high level so its not hard to distinguish, but I'm not sure what to make of this. They mainly added people I played CSGO/CS2 with, but haven't sent messages to any of them. I reported them for imitating me but the account is still up and still adding people. Any idea what they are attempting to do or what else I can do?

Here is an even bigger Question for you???

If all the STEAM Users with BAN Report Abuse against them,
started to make STEAM Accounts with the same Names??

And they all started to flood the STEAM Forums
with the same Names...

I am curious how mindboggling that would
be for Valve to figure out when they get
frequent Reports from People?? o_@

Even crazier, they make multiple Accounts under the same Names??

Imagine the cluster fk that would be for Valve to handle?? o_@

STEAM Support would have a field day with that one...

Talk about being Anonymous Online, right?? =D

Yeah, it is a known scam.

If you have done reporting, then there is nothing else you need to do.

Perhaps sending a broadcast messages to all your friends is an option. or make a notice on your profile of an imitator.

You can report the profile as impersonating you.

Looks like someone wants to scam one of your friends.

Yup, I did that and I’ve been messaging the people he’s added.
