Today I received a link from a friend on steam, with whom I have never written. I know, a strange friend, but sometimes it happens. He sent me a link with the message “This is for you”. At first glance, the link looked legit, but you only have to look closer to know that it's a scam, and I ask everyone to watch out for it.

In this scam link you may find: steamconmunmilty

Look how steamcommunity looks here xD steamconmunmilty. I didn't check this link but I am pretty sure that it is a SCAM.

If you get this link from anyone, just block this person and report it to steam support!
Do not let them scam you!

Ah, that explains the post. This scam is very old and just one of many. There exist a ton of different fake links and other methods to try and scam people. Just always be careful, you won't ever have someone randomly gift you something on Steam using a link. Also while I'm at it, Steam will never contact anyone via chat or worse.. Discord either.
They won't tell you "you're getting banned unless you do x..." or anything else people might come up with aswell. People are falling for it, otherwise it wouldn't exist anymore.

Oh and don't use any third party trading websites (or any website really..) wanting your steam logins. Thats a the easiest way of losing your account.

Phishing most commonly. If that's your account name you've posted then that's another terrible security lapse on your part.

As long as you have not entered your login details, everything is fine. Just move on.

I didnt enter my login details but I tried going in with steam guard qr code, and it would just write "failed to connect" will I be ok? or what should I do to resolve this

The QR code is the vector to phish your account information. Secure your account.
