LittleBIGPlanet on Steam?
Do you know how AWESOME it would be if the developers launched a new LittleBIGPlanet game on Steam that is frequently updated? No more parts of LBP that splits the community but only one LBP with crossplay for Steam and PlayStation that would be SOO AWESOME. Anyone who's played LittleBIGPlanet 1 and 2 campaign and multiplayer knows how amazing the game is and honestly it would be my absolute favorite game if I could play it on PC.

They don't realize how much money they could make off of a LBP for PC on Steam with DLCs and updates lasting forever... They really need to go through with this and give us a LBP for PC with crossplay with a decent base to build upon. They could give us the steam community mod market for it and we could make maps ingame like crazy. Imo LBP is the best franchise on PlayStation, fight me!

There is also a Little Big Game on Steam, the sackboy game.

Little Big Planet 1 and 2 needed servers which already have been shut down for a long time. If Sony would offer these games, they would have to remade the servers and also you would have a hard PSN requirement on that.

Do you really want that same drama again like a certain other game?

No I want a completely NEW LBP game with a new campaign but for the new PlayStation and PC Steam that gives us a decent base to build upon and they should update it forever in the style of what Valve does to Counter-Strike 2 or Dota 2. Now these games will last a lifetime because Valve keeps updating them and not giving us new episodes of the game as with LBP 1 then 2 then 3 and so on. This is not a great concept.

We rather want ONE LBP game for eternity on which we can build levels at best with crossplay enabled between PC and PlayStation players. They simply need to make a new LBP like I described. The community is there for it because the games have been awesome. We need working multiplayer and a good level editor for Steam with crossplay and a nice new campaign with great soundtrack...

Surely Sony Interactive Entertainment can find the developers to create such a game. And rather than giving us LBP 4 / 5 / 6 and so on they should just give us a single one LBP game for Steam and PS and update it forever so the progress is never lost.

Best franchise? Nah, certainly not for me. It's mildly entertaining.

Or if you do not want to make ONE LittleBIGPlanet and update it like Valve updates Dota 2 then at least give us LittleBIGPlanet 4 / 5 / 6 for Steam with crossplay enabled. Why does noone see the potential in this? If they wanted to make loads of money they can add cosmetic DLCs... It would be such an epic experience. Why limit only to PlayStation?

Then that's because you didn't play LittleBIGPlanet 1 campaign or multiplayer. The 3rd one is the one that's worse than the previous because multiplayer doesn't work. I played LBP 1 and the campaign was amazing, the music was amazing and so was the environment. I still wish for such a game to come to Steam even if I have to have a PSN account to login, I'd dig it so hard!

But I did play LBP 1. And found it mildly entertaining at best.

It's fine if you love the game. Doesn't change what I said, though.

Well I played LBP 1 on my friend's PlayStation together with him and we also played multiplayer. It was a ton of fun and it was the opposite of stress. on pc i can only play hard stressful games like counter-strike 2 and everquest but i want a game like LittleBIGPlanet now, I'd throw all other games in the bin if LBP gets released for Steam.

There are still community-driven servers for little big planet, you know.

There are plenty of low stress games on PC and Steam. I can't think of any specifically like LBP but if you're looking for casual and relaxing games there are tons of them.

Having more games on Steam would always be good.

That said, it being Sony means there will be a catch. ;)

I just realized there is a game on Steam called Restitched, still in development. If it does extremely well, maybe Sony will wake up and give us their piece of crumpet.

Thank you for pointing this game out.

I'm gonna buy RESTITCHED on day 1. I hope it has the same charm and a good as level editor. So many people are waiting on a new online LBP game and this is the one that will be! I've never been more hyped for a game in my entire life! The memories I made with LittleBIGPlanet 1 online and in the campaign with my friend. It was crazy relaxing to play that game.
