Ok forsaken and phasmo can definitely work then, white noise is better in groups of 4-5 total since one player plays the monster. Also it’s a horribly unoptimized jank-fest, bud Damned is also really really fun once you actually get it working lol. Also heard good things about labrynthine but haven’t played it myself
Standard stuff.
And then you remember the start of the game and, oh, did I mention it? In the intro sequence, you see your son being abducted by those cannibals. And you dive deeper and deeper into a more and more horrible story, and at the end, you face a challenge and a quite harrowing decision.
Not gonna say more, but it's a pretty intense experience.
The game is every couple months on sale, and there's now a sequel out, Sons of The Forest, which I can't comment on because I haven't played it yet (and my curse on anyone who dares to spoiler it!) :)
Resident Evil 5/6 aren't horror but shooters just like 4 and the ones after them...
7 Days To Die - Lethal Company and Forewarned.
