did you miss this part?

Notice: The Six Dragons is no longer available on the Steam store.
As far as I’m aware steam still doesn’t allow crypto games. Either they snuck it on without steam realizing or the version on steam has had the crypto
Aspects removed
Its the coming soon part that confused me, i saw that part but wasn't sure if it was just because they closed the beta and the real game was "coming soon"
"Coming soon, to Epic store!"
If you look at the discussions the earliest post was from 2019

Yeah I don't think its coming out anytime "soon"

Conmsidering the state of the crypto market...
That's a safe bet.
This been on Steam since 2018 if check Steamdb, but this game HASN'T release, and don't think it will release on Steam anytime soon, I could be wrong due to recent changes, but again Steam is very agasint those trying to represent their marketplace with crypto & nft marketplace as that not what Steam wants, so if it's done outside of Steam then seem to be kind of ok AFAIK.

Last time a game dev tried to do this they got removed trying to use Steam market place to add to blockchain game to making NFT to sell NFT to be tied with Steam market place. Blockchain isn't the problem it just what those trying to do with Steam can be the problem.

It's already on Epic actually since 2 days ago, but it's no secret that nearly all crypto/nft games flop mostly because cash grab, bad logic, system, gameplay, or etc... Can check out youtuber Jauwn he does reviews on crypto/nft games showing how much of a scam, or cash grab they can be. Also one of the popular NFT game BlockParty shutdown last year, basically making all those NFT worthless really, they change their marketing goal to NFT data index company now.

The underpinning assumption that game companies will put resources into supporting assets migrated from other games via NFTs because "gamers want that" is completely crushed by the fact that e.g gamers want 'bug free games' and 'games without predatory MTX' and we haven't gotten those things yet.

Everything else is just crypto bros jerking off next to each other while talking about how great the future is going to be once they somehow solve that 'tragedy of the commons' problem preventing NFT games from being a viable concept.

And there's literally nothing about even that pie-eyed scenario that actuually requires Blockchain/ In fact what has been killing NFTs/Cryptos is basically the fact that just about every usecase is better served by a simple database
Why do we need crypto when we can alr invest in cs:go skins?
I tried this game on Epic Games, it's a legit RPG with many unique features and I didnt interact with anything crypto and I m like 10 hours in. And came here looking for it to play it on steam.

I love steam but I d really like to be able to play any game here even crypto games, since they have a good proposal for collectibles, same as cs:go but you actually have more info about the collectibles like how many there are out there.

All that said, I get it why steam is more than skeptical, it makes it hard for them to collect $$$ from digital assets and also till this sector is more regulated and understood a lot of scams exist.
the game been delisted and probably will never come to steam, unless they remove the crypto part of it.

Steam rarely totally removes games from steam, they just get delisted so people who already got it can still play it.
I just hope steam finds a way to include crypto games to the store, there is some cool concepts on collectibles that I find it very appealing. Played another couple of hours of The Six Dragons in Epic games and I m hooked
