How pathetic some members of Steam Support are if they use alt accounts to troll and then ban users that call them out? :D

Is Steam seriously so lost in money, that they not only support cheaters, but they also pay trolls on their Discussions and give them Moderator privileges?

Steam staff is seriously sick in their heads!

What they do, is give you a bot response. You ask for a human, and a supervisor, and they'll come in, and ask "well, why didn't you report the thread or the posters"? I'd respond i DID, did you not look at the separate ticket"? Then he replied with a bot response "Reviewing the matter, it seems the ban made in error" so forth.

So they have scripted bot responses, but humans do look. It seems you almost literally have to ask for one lol.

ya reports are ignored for pretty much everything except necro-ed threads, its kinda odd to say the least.

and im sure you can see issues in the forum, so i wont go into detail.

its more or less something you experience here as well :P

Your reports might be if you aren't getting notified of action taken which can happen if you don't understand the rules. If you do understand them and report actual rule violations then your reports get acted on quite frequently

I mean it lets them pretend its not their fault they got banned so probably. Even though the entire argument makes no sense and moderators could just ban them without going thru all that made up craziness, and permanently ban them instead of going thru all that made up work to give them a 1 day ban...

Took seconds to find the most recent post that caused the restriction, unsurprisingly in the CS2 hub.

Most that don't like mods tend to ignore blatantly bad behavior to say "mods bad" etc without seeing what caused it, lol.

Or just accept it's steams fault, the platforms a big lie, the forums a bigger lie, nobody is fan boying for steam when they see how broken and wrong steam is on so many topics, those that seem to adopt the steam fan boy syndrome are questionable the same ones that have 1000s of games, but now hide the fact because users now know that many games exposes them instantly as steam accredited propaganda accounts

They can't fess up because they are innocent and never do anything wrong, it is always someone else. They can't name anyone or have proof of any of their claims because that would go against their claims of innocence. So, they use the "moderators use ALT accounts" to cover everything, it's like one conspiracy theory covers all.

People need reminded that it's Steam's platform, if they want you gone from the forums, they don't need a "reason". So making up the "shadow cabal of mods" angle at best, only serves to distract from the real reason why a user would get a ban.

I always love when they sit there scratching their heads going uhhhhh when I ask them why the mods need to use an alt account to do anything when they could just ban them without having to bait them like they claim...
