$100

https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/gettingstarted/appfee

You can recoup this amount after your product has at least $1,000.00 Adjusted Gross Revenue for Steam Store or in-app purchases.

There's a 30% commission on each sale though too right? That's going to be more significant in the long run.

That's not anything to worry about.

Why? You don't think Hobnob's going to sell a lot of copies?

I never said that, nor did I infer it.

Not really.. You only incur this cost when a sale iis made, so a directed surcharge. If you sell a game for $10, you get $7 Valve gets $3..

If he sells alot of copies that fee drops as low as 20% If I recall.
The $100 fee is also given back once a game sells a certain amount of copies.
Scam you are gonna struggle to sell 150 games here, even if the games quality, steam controls the sales market they will just take your 100 dollars and run with it, your time and effort gets thrown to the wind and steam profits while you pay outta pocket, good luck though I'm being realistic not optimistic. This is how steam suckers little freelancers outta 100 bucks

If they're taking the money and running, please explain why there is over 50,000 games on Steam?

Please stop your incessant nonsense.
Explain why 40000 of those games never sell and have less then 10 people in the discussion hubs and game populations

Where's your data that proves they never sell? As I understand it, only developers and publishers know that information, so please do tell.
Just pick a random 99 cent game on steam and look at the user numbers, it's easy to see they don't sell

Perhaps you didn't understand the previous post, don't ask me to do anything. You made the claim, therefore the burden of proof is on you.

One more time, do tell.

That isn't proof that 40k games don't ever sell.

Indeed. Hell 200 games not selling doesn't prove that 40,000 others aren't.
