Youtube link doesn't work anymore
Can't upload videos. This is going on for a while now. Whenever I try to link my YT channel it shows "HTTP Error 500" repeatedly. I tried everything I could. Steam Support said I need to sign in on web browser but I am actually using Steam using web browser and has been encountering this problem from the past few days. At one point I just "waited" and by next day it worked, but recently for few days the same error is being shown.

This sucks. Is there any problem with Steam server? I am sure it's not account related problem because I tried to test it with other Steam accounts.

Any input is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you mean you are using Steam's built-in web-browser -- or are you using Steam in a legit full and official web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc. installed on your system?

It needs to be the latter.
Google does not allow account sign-in through so-called 'embedded web views' and any still active and valid remaining access tokens are expiring over time without the ability to refresh them that way.

I see. So I'm not the only one who is experiencing this. I hope they resolve this soon.

I am using the legit external browser (Chrome specifically) on my phone. I tested some hypothesis like maybe has something to do with my internet connection so I tried stronger wifi signal but no. Still error.

I tried on my laptop. Not working as well. Same error.

I changed my timezone. Not working. Same error.

I used VPN. Same result.

I updated my phone and Chrome as well. Same result.

Clear my browsing history. Same result.

I tried it on Steam app (ironically to see if it works even the support said otherwise) but same result.

Got some interesting reading that HTTP error 500 is a server related issue. But I can see some people still can upload their videos. Why?

This is crazy. I'm going crazy trying to solve this problem.

i think with that, you've done all you can at that point for your end. you might try reinstalling the programs if you dontmind losing some settings.

error 500 is bad because its just like, the generic response.

at this point i dont think its client side anymore, but to track it down? im sorry its something i wont be able to troubleshoot remotely =[

No worries thanks. I'm just relieved I'm not the only one who experience this. But it's kinda frustrating to be honest. It sucks that there's nothing I can do and have to wait until they fixed it.
