Windows 11 is trash
I see so many people complaining on forums how this or that retro game doesn't work on Windows 11, while those same games run perfectly on Windows 10. Every single retro game I have works with Windows 10, so why should I bother upgrading to that garbage Faildows 11? I will stay on Windows 10 until it gets supported.

where are those topics?

I don't like W11 because how it looks (I know, it's dumb reason) but when gaming laptop upgrade itself to that thing, everything in my library worked... I ended up rolling back to Win10 because it was a royal pain to use the "tools" microsoft coded... I wanted to use control panel instead... and looks awfull, When I want my computer to be a tablet I may think on that thing.... for now... W10 and then Linux

Every Single game which works on Win 10 should work on Win 11 too.
But probably the people who said that it does not work probably never even tried it.

I have nearly 4000 games combined with Steam and other platforms and i yet have to run into a game that ran on Windows 7/10 that does not run the same on Windows 11.

Uh, something don't add up here. While I don't enjoy Windows 11's UI change, it has even more compatibility than 10 lol

And even then with a much smaller library than Ogami for example, I never encounter a problem with Win10... even running some old games like Carmageddon

A lot of people are complaining that Max Payne 1 and 2 doesn't work under Windows 11 for example without community fixes. I know for a fact that I could only run those games on Windows 7 if I put them in compatibility mode, and administrator, but I could run them on Windows 10 without any of that. So this proves that each newer version of Windows can be better or worse for each retro title. I'm pretty sure I saw people complaining about other games too not working on Windows 11.

People keep complaining, about games not working. But "need troubleshooting" is NOT "not working". This is literally what PC gaming was for years. If something isn't working, you make it work. If something didn't work on win 7, you had to troubleshoot it too.

No you didn't. People don't try and play those retro games. They just collect them to look at in their Steam Library.

I bet nothing would happen if all the people that owned the games that don't work flagged them on the Store Page as not working in Windows 11.

Nothing like flagging games, that WORK, because you have axe to grind...

You seem to ignored the part where I said that every retro game I have works under Windows 10 from the get go.

My bad. But at the same time, I don't have any more problems with win 11, than I had with win 10/

Windows 7 > any other OS

Windows 11 is a great OS. All my old games work just fine.
