HomeyCozey Base Builders suggestions - Starbound or Stardew Valley?

Hey guys
I'm looking for a chill game, I thought of Stardew Valley and Starbound which have been in my library for quite a long time.

I'd really wanna play something where I can build a cozy home or base or city. Starbound's ship seemed to fit the bill pretty well. My last game was Against the Storm and I expected it to be a city builder where you could build a cozy homey city and even though the game turned out to be excellent in its own way, it didn't really achieve my crave for such a game. Rimworld is perhaps the last game that gave me that feeling, but I also had it in some FPSs like STALKER Call of Pripyat when you take shelter in bases like Yanov or the Skadowsk - even though you don't get to build anything at all.

Starbound or Stardew Valley are the first ones that came to my mind. I also had the sense that some other games like Settlement Survival for instance would give me that feeling. But it could also be immersive FPSs that'd provide you a sense of security at time VS the dangerous outdoors - thought of Pacific Drive.

also noticed you own graveyard keeper, you should play it ( 0 hours ), its a good game imo.

you also only have 9 mins in stardew valley, which is a very fun game, top 10 on steam, low price/sales and recently got a huge update, with 2 smaller updates as well.

yes, you can terraform the map, build bases, farm food and cattle, combat, mining, the maps supposedly infinite, character leveling, weapons that you can upgrade, level your pets that also help you in combat and much more.

you can move to and farm/mine new worlds, you can create, level and use more that one character, ect.. its honestly awesome, its very much like stardew valley, with extras, like some of the mentioned, mine carts/tracks, go karts, ect..

its a very underrated game.

also, you should play stardew valley and graveyard keeper, you own both but havent tried them, they are both very much, good games :P

no problem, they are all quite like each other, but with various extras and storylines/themes.

im sure all 3 will be fun for ya.

I enjoyed Palworld for over 200 hours. Just gets a bit too grinding at the end.

there are cozy modcraft minepacks as well. I like cottage witch modpack the best for this, still has a bit of combat. but there are other minecraft packs that are probably cozier with even less combat (think one, bliss modpack, has none at all unnless the player attacks first)

Granted, minecraft isn't on steam...

(edit) and after an hour realized I should clarify...most if not all modpacks are made for java version, dunno if any cozy stuff for microsoft's version
