Is this what"s going on with the 20000+ games on sale right now?

There's no info really anywhere about what all these "Special Offers" are about. Valve usually have banners or something on the Steam store front about such sales but there's nothing.

How did you learn about it and where? Because this thread is my only source of information right now, which is pretty weird when so many games are being discounted like that.

Found out that you have to go to Store > News & Noteworthy > Sale Events to get there.
