You want Valve to ruin their partnership with Nvidia with GeForce Now?
I think we're going to see a time, they're all gonna partner in one way or another. Being they all have common interests, and are all intertwined in one way or another.
Mr Newell has been trying for years to get into the console market. Spencer has trying to get into the PC market. And GFN was successful in making it all happen, altogether.
Of course the odd man out, would be Sony. They don't have the capability.
But i can tell you this, i think it's only a matter of time, before Exclusivity is a thing of the past, and we'll be able to get access to most all of this stuff, thru Cloud and Streaming, one way or another.
Should go talk to EGS about exclusivity then if you believe that.. Should also ask Phil Spencer if exclusivity is gonna be a thing of the past why he name drops the most pro-exclusive PC gaming store you can think of....

Well, there it is. They're all working together, and my view is, much more to come.
Yep, it sounds like basically xbox is going to abandon consoles and stick to PC gaming and pull an alienware and just sell branded PC's. I mean it makes sense, they've been failing to compete with them for over a decade now so better to cut their losses and refocus their efforts on something they are stronger at.
You did say, "as to what Spencer and Newell can work on, is having Xbox Stream, play Steam games, and sort of bite into GFN." which is the opposite of what is happening.
Hate, no. Dislike sure.
Hate is a strong word, he dislikes how they operated but unlike Sweeny at EGS i've never seen him actually hate on anyone.
Well apparently, they don't have too i suppose. If GFN is gonna be the link between Steam and Xbox, then why is Xbox trying to expand their Stream and Cloud services?

Again, there's not even a reason to upgrade an Xbox. You could can get the next gen games, thru their Stream Services. Same with GFN, they apparently partnered with.
And so that may go to Brians question, in why Xbox is not selling consoles. It makes sense to me.
Wasn't a question, its a fact, and the answer is well known. They got ♥♥♥♥ for games. Same problem they had since the original Xbox. Sony has always blown them out of the water with their exclusives.
Even them buying up companies hasn't changed that.
either way
Well dude, there's almost literally no reason to buy their new consoles. If' i'm getting Starfield, or Forza or whatever, on an Xbox One. That is not the case with Sony. If you want the newer stuff, you have to buy their newer consoles.
And even their stuff i can likely get on Xbox One, on GFN, before long, if not already.
As i brought up, as Mango brought up. The only issue, is you don't have access to your whole library on GFN.
If we did, there would not be a Win 7 issue for me. There would not be criticisms of MS and Mr Newell. There would be no Ranger.
That's kicking the hornets nest and then claiming you're innocent while being stung.
