I think some games work well with early access because the games are designed in a such a way where you feel like you got a full game, a complete experience, you don't feel like anything is actually missing while you are playing.
Someone mentioned Satisfactory is the gold standard for Early Access, I think Travellers Rest is also the gold standard.

I have it on GOG and need to play it.
So ... yeah?
Early access is bad from the standpoint of wanting an unchanging game that only is what it is advertised and reviewed as being.
I think the middleground is an MMO, where the game is done, but they update them (either via expansions or free updates).
Nothing wrong with any of them, just important to pick the one you want.

"Metal Unit" is a game I've enjoyed in early access and its full release. "30XX" and "Oblivion Override" are games I've enjoyed in early access and still fire up occasionally whenever I feel like it. "Frontier Hunter - Erza's wheel of fortune" was a lot of fun too, but not worth returning to until more content drops.
And I'm awaiting the early access for "Detained - too good for school". It's a game whose journey to 1.0 I would like to be a part of.
A good game is a good game, I don't care about the label.
I've had no complaints about Dyson Sphere Program.
Roboquest was fun from what I played of it.
Thronefall is interesting and I need to get back to it as I haven't played it since the last update.
