Stellar Blade for PC
I know that the South Korean community is more focused on PCs, and Stellar Blade is made by a Korean company, and I would really like to play that game on PC.

Going to have to wait four years and see what happens.

I'd say probably next year sometime Stellar Blade will be on pc. But unfortunately yeah Stellar Blade will probably be an egs exclusive for a while then come to steam.

FFXVI only took a year before it was on pc same with HFW and GOWR. So it's not always 4 years. GOWR actually took less than a year before it was out on pc. Insomniac's Spider-Man 1 and Insomniac's Spider-Man Miles Morales also only took a year before they were out on pc.

This year is basically over. October will most likely end the release of AAA games for this year bc there's no more large events except for the vga's to showcase trailers at. And the trailers at the vga's are usually reserved for the games coming out the following year. Stellar Blade is considered a AAA game. And the vga's are in December and mark the end of the year. If it's not at TGS then it's not coming out this year bc TGS is the last event for JRPGS to have a trailer at for them to come out this year.

FFXVI isn't really owned by Sony. They just paid for limited time exclusivity. In the case of GoW Ragnarok, they partially own the IP and have to give permission for the company to release on the PC.

Stellar Blade is probably in a similar boat to God of War and Spiderman. Sony probably owns partial rights. So they have a say when the PC version releases. Which is usually a bit before the sequel is about to release on playstation so those PC sales can be used to piggy back into playstation sales.

The devs behind Spider-Man and GOWR are both owned by Sony and are both Sony PlayStation studios so Sony has full say on when those come to pc but I think Stellar Blade is in a similar boat to the Final Fantasy games coming to pc from PlayStation bc just like Square Enix isn't owned by Sony I don't think Shift-Up is owned by Sony either.

Main question is will it need damn PSN network because we already lost several games because of it...
I got Ghost of Tsushima forcefuly refunded because I could not buy it because they implemented it on it and now I am worried will they implement it on Stellar Blade. Although it is fully single player game...

Sony usually partially or fully owns the IP when funding the game from scratch. They own the Dark Cloud IP for example. Demon Souls as well.

Timed exclusivity isn't a deal you make with a studio that has never done anything. It's something you only do with major players in the field because outright permanent exclusivity is too expensive to buy otherwise. Hence why no xbox version for Stellar Blade has been announced or considered. Where as the xbox versions on a Final Fantasy game could still happen.

Sony doesn't own Shift-Up at all. Sony just funded it for a timed exclusive deal. I just looked it up. Stellar Blade is in the same boat as the Final Fantasy games. Shift-Up just hasn't announced a Xbox version yet that's all. Give it time they will. They haven't even officially announced the pc version either yet. So I'm sure both the pc and Xbox versions will be announced at the same time.

Sony doesn't own Level 5 or From Software either. But they still own Demon Souls and Dark Cloud 1 & 2.

If you have any proof to it just being a timed exclusive that would be great. All the evidence we have suggests Sony owns partial rights like they tend to do when they help fund a new project. Stellar Blade basically has no prospects of getting an xbox port, like ever. The devs never toyed around with the idea or anything. Meanwhile the FF16 director said they want to focus on the PC port first and is aware of the requests. Which means Sony might have paid a bit more to keep it off xbox for a little longer than PC. And they paid nothing to keep Stellar Blade off xbox because they own partial or full rights of the IP and can just say no to it.

A company can't own a product if they don't own the maker of it. That goes for anything. Shift-Up would have to be partially owned by Sony or fully owned by Sony for Sony to own any rights to Stellar Blade. I'm sure Shift-Up did what Square Enix always does for the Final Fantasy games. Shift-Up and Sony had a contract for the PS5 to have a timed exclusive. Read this article about that. https://gamerant.com/stellar-blade-pc-version/

Like I said the pc version of Stellar Blade hasn't even been officially announced yet and I'm sure when the pc version gets officially announced the Xbox version will get announced right along with it unless the same thing happens like what happened with FFXVI. And iirc the only Final Fantasy game on Xbox is FF14 Online and nothing else. FF7 Remake Intergrade never got released on Xbox either just on pc and ps5. So I highly doubt FF16 will get released on Xbox ever.
