Steam store page so awful I don't browse it anymore.

Just wanted to say something about how god awful searching for any decent recommendations is on steam anymore. I have bought many games on steam but now I don't bother to even stay a minute because of how bad the store page has become. Why have tech companies purposely degraded all of their services while demanding more and more from us?

Well, try looking at the sale pages...

The problem is that I'm not a marketing expert -- I don't know whether Steam is doing a good job or not. I just find it... not particularly useful. But that's just me.

I can't once remember ever going to the Store pages to actually look for a game. I always know what I want to get ahead of time and just drop the name in the search box at the top right of every store page and go right to it.

Same. I mostly just derive entertainment from weird game titles in the "new and trending" section that show up if you have porn enabled and don't use the front page of the store for anything else.
